The 2025 NE-COMMIT Fall Conference organization is underway. As a reminder, the conference will be held on September 27th at the College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester (MA). The theme of this year's conference is AI in the Inquiry Classroom: using technology equitably for a better classroom experience.
At this time, we would like to request that you fill out the following form to express interest in attending the conference. Filling out the form will just take a minute! You don't need to have a proposal for an active session ready yet; we will reach out later in June to request them. At this point, we are just trying to gauge interest and encourage you to save the date. Please fill it out at your earliest convenience.

I am also happy to share some exciting news about the conference. First of all, our plenary speaker this year will be Dr Feryâl Alayont, from Grand Valley State University. Dr. Alayont is one of the organizers of the MAA group "Teaching Math with Generative AI" and organized an AMS Special Session on Generative AI for Improving Instructional Productivity at the JMM in Seattle. She is also the author of the open-access textbook An Inquiry-Based Introduction to Linear Algebra and Applications. We are very excited to have her join us in September!
The second piece of news is that we have secured funding from the College of the Holy Cross for our conference, which means that registration for the conference will be free this year. Free registration includes breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks. As usual, after the conference we will have an optional dinner, which everybody will cover at their own expense.
We look forward to seeing you in Worcester in September!
Sincerely,
NE-COMMIT Fall Conference Planning Committee
