Title:
Modern Mathematics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Javier Gomez Serrano
abstract:
For centuries, mathematics has been conducted using paper and pencil. Today, for the first time, it has a new partner: artificial intelligence. In this talk, we will explore what it truly means to prove something in the 21st century, a time when computers do more than just calculate: they propose ideas, discover formulas, and find algorithms that no one had ever imagined. We will discuss how these tools are beginning to transform the way mathematical research is conducted.
